I've googled the problem and it seems I am not alone in the D5300 shutter count issue. In the meantime, I'd love some help! I've run out of ideas. They'll probably get back to me in a week or so. I sent a pic to Nikon and asked for the shutter count. However, when I posted pics from the D5300, while I did get all sorts of EXIF info, I did not get the "total number of shutter releases for camera" entry itself like I did with the Nikon D5100.ĭo any of you have the Nikon D5300? How did you find the shutter count? To clarify - when I posted pics from my Nikon D5100 in the above sites and programs, I got the shutter count info and all the of the EXIF data. None offered the shutter count for the Nikon D5300.
I downloaded numerous programs like PhotoMe, OpanadaIexif, and a couple other EXIF programs, also Flikr, and again, no dice. I've tried camera shutter count, my shutter count, Nikon shutter count, and and came up flat each time. Anyone know how to get the shutter count for the Nikon D5300?
